These tours can be tailored specifically to your groups needs and cater to everyone from families with young children, to experienced kayakers just looking for a local guide to show them the area.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing 2-3 day lodge based kayak tour or a week long open coast sea kayak adventure; a rustic (backcountry camping where you bring your own gear and cook your own food) or an extravagant (fly to a remote corner of Clayoquot Sound to sin the hot springs, enjoy gourmet food and sleep in a wam bed on a floating B&B); Paddle West Kayaking has the experience, local knowledge and expertise to provide you with the trip you’ve been dreaming about.

Hiking/Kayak Tours in Tofino:
For those looking to explore the pristine temperate rainforest, and spectacular outer coast beaches surrounding Tofino, we can incorporate day hikes (Meares Island “Big Tree Trail” 5km loop) or Multi Day hikes (The 16km Wild Side Trail on Flores Island) as part of your Tofino kayak tour.
Motor Boat & Float Plane Assisted Tours:
If you want to access more remote paddling regions in Clayoquot or Barkley Sound but you only have a limited time (1 to 4 days) we can hire motor boats or float planes to get to areas that aren’t accessible on shorter tours.
Gourmet Food:
Whenever you book a catered kayak tour with Paddle West you can be sure you’ll be treated to excellent food and lots of it; but for those looking for something a little bit extra, we’ve teamed up with local culinary experts to provide a gourmet west coast menu that takes backcountry cuisine to the next level.
